FREE SHIPPING The turn-of-the-century Myers Cottage, which was moved from its original location, now houses The Wrightsville Beach Museum of History. This quaint home reminds me of the beach house my grandmother built in which I spent many summers as a child. It evokes the nostalgic sensation of warm summer nights in a less-hurried era. FREE SHIPPING I did this drawing free-hand on location over a period of days sitting on the bulkhead. As the bridge was raised and lowered to allow boats to pass under it on the Intracoastal Waterway, I got to experience the character and personality of this old familiar landmark. The bridge has undergone extensive renovation in the past year, so I am happy that I captured the original look as depicted in this pen and ink drawing.
