FREE SHIPPING I worked on this drawing over a period of three years while my daughter was a student at Sewanee. I took it with me for Parents' weekends or home lacrosse games and sat in the center of campus drawing the building when I had a free moment. It is a beautiful building completed in July of 1959.

The tower is primarily based upon that of the University Church at Oxford University, England. The vaulted ceilings are designed principally from the models of the medieval French cathedrals Chartres and Amiens. The rose window is based upon that of the south transept of Notre Dame de Paris in France.
